More Information
We routinely screen all of our new and existing patients for oral cancer every 3 to 6 months. This exam consists of a thorough examination of all the soft tissues of the mouth as well as the face and neck areas. If a suspicious area is detected in the mouth, we can test this area with a painless procedure called a "brush biopsy" where a sample of surface cells are obtained and analyzed without anesthetic.
Please call our office to schedule an examination.
In some cases where a cavity is small and/or just beginning, we can use a wand that focuses a small beam of sand particles on the cavity to painlessly remove and restore it. There is no need for the drill and anesthetic!

Don't Forget to Floss!
Clean between teeth daily with floss or an interdental cleaner. Decay-causing bacteria can hide between teeth where toothbrush bristles can't reach. Flossing helps remove plaque and food particles from between teeth and under the gum line.
Visit Our Office Regularly!
Take good care of your smile. Remember to visit the dentist regularly for professional cleanings and oral exams.
Mouthwash Is Important, Too!
Brushing and flossing may not be enough. The ADA now recommends using an antimicrobial mouthwash to reduce plaque and prevent gingivitis.
